An HSC Brasil software license contemplates the right to use the base software for an unlimited period and the right of access to the HSC GTPN for the contracted subscription period which may be 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years.

After the end of the subscription period, the licensee must renew it for the subsequent period in order to maintain access to the HSC GTPN and all its modules as:

  • Software updates;
  • Security subscriptions;
  • Reputation system, Zero-Hour Protection and F-Secure BaseGuard.
  • Access to URLs catalogs.

When subscription expires, access to these features is interrupted and may affect other modules that rely on them, such as data consolidation for reports, rules based on URL’s catalogs, manufacturer’s technical support, and software assurance.

When you renew the subscription, the features are re-activated as of the date the software is licensed.


Software Guarantee


HSC software is granted without any exclusive use and is copyrighted and can not be modified by reverse engineering, disassembly, decompilation, or any attempt to discover the source code in whole or in part, duplicated, resold, distributed, borrowed, leased, sublicensed or leased to third parties.

The warranty for the functionalities of the licensed software runs until the end of the HSC subscription period.

Licensor does not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the software and Licensee will be responsible for the results obtained with the use of the licensed software.

The warranties set forth in this clause do not cover problems, errors, damages or losses arising from decisions made on the basis of information, whatever the use of the licensed software, nor does it cover defects or errors resulting from negligence, recklessness or malpractice in your use, as well as problems arising from unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure.

These warranties are exclusive to Licensor and supersede all warranties and conditions, express or implied, from prior negotiations.

Licensee may optionally rely on warranty/support with solution time pre-established directly with the manufacturer or one of its authorized channels. The solution time may vary according to the customer / licensee.
